September 2013 – “Kickoff Meeting for APAcT Accessibility Studio”

APAcT will host a kickoff meeting to begin the design and construction of the NSF-funded APAcT Person-Centered Accessibility Studio. The studio will act as a community center for IGERT trainees, providing space and resources to facilitate meetings and research activities. The studio will feature state-of-the-art laboratory equipment and technologies to perform disability assessment and research. Trainees will also have access to advanced videoconferencing equipment for remote collaborations and virtual team functions. An open house event will be hosted in Spring 2014 to share the studio resources with the Arizona State University community.
